The
Cadillac Café is known far and wide as the bar that invented
a pork flavored drink known as The Fruit of the Swine. One part
vodka, two parts bacon grease served in a hollowed out snout.
This drink is known for its place of origin as The Cadillac of
Cocktails.
Being Wednesday, it’s Spacesuit Happy Hour at the Cadillac
Café. It starts at 7 a.m. and doesn’t end until Friday
afternoon. If you’re wearing a spacesuit drinks are eight
for the price of seven. This is quite a bargain for a bar located
in the heart of Five Points South.
