Burghard looks solemn. "See that corpse in the shadows?"

You look just behind you to see a dead body staring up lifelessly with a huge hole in its chest. "Jesus Christ, man!" you bark, "You might have pointed that out before. Not only do I have blood all over my shoes, but I’ve got an image in my head that’s going to haunt me for the rest of my life."

"Neither here nor there," Burghard continues. "That’s the old king of Bohemia. All we’ve got to do is put this magic heart back in his chest and he can go back to ruling his homeland. Sure he’s a bloodthirsty despot, and Sigfried would certainly be a kindly and benevolent ruler, but hey, you gotta do what’s right."

"I’m not exactly sure that’s ‘right’ per se," you comment.

"Ok then, you gotta do what you gotta do."

"I guess I can’t argue with that," you reply. On reflection you realize that you could grab the Scarlet Heart out of Burghard’s hand and toss it to one of the Batfolk, thus saving thousands of innocent people from the senseless tortures and bloody reprisals of the sadistic king of Bohemia. Then you think that it’s getting close to lunchtime and you’re ready to wrap this whole thing up.
