is a bad year for the Alabama Theatre. It opened just about a year ago
on Christmas day 1927. But those nasty Steiner brothers held the mortgage
on the building. The first time the theatre owner (that little fellow
who always dresses like Robin) was late on his mortgage payment the Steiner
Bank padlocked the door. Hmmm, that might be a motive for foul play. You can see the Florentine Building to your right and the Brown-Marx Building to your left. Youre also just a short distance from Morris Ave. and the Terrace Court Apartments. |
